I have been a master of ceremonies (MC) for over 10 years and felt the time was right to become a wedding celebrant. I have been the go-to MC for countless family, friends' and others events, where my charisma and natural talent for public speaking led many to believe it was my full time profession. It was during these occasions that I discovered my passion for creating memorable and meaningful moments for others, especially in the realm of love and marriage.
From these experiences I felt it was a natural progression to study and become a celebrant to share my skills with people to contribute to their special day.
My own love story began when I married my high school sweetheart, April, in 2015. I am not only a husband but also a father to our two beautiful daughters, Maeve and Quinn. This family bond provides me with a deep appreciation for the importance of love and commitment.

My own love story began when I married my high school sweetheart, April, in 2015. I am not only a husband but also a father to our two beautiful daughters, Maeve and Quinn. This family bond provides me with a deep appreciation for the importance of love and commitment.
During the week, you can find me in the classroom, where I am a High School PDHPE and Maths teacher. I also lead my school in the wellbeing space and this is where my passion lies.
My commitment to the community extends beyond my role as a teacher. I have been actively involved in various local sporting teams, where I have not only been a participant but also a dedicated supporter of the community's well-being through work with Gotcha For Life. My involvement in local sports has instilled in me a strong sense of unity and the importance of teamwork, values I bring to the ceremonies I officiate.
In addition to my love for teaching, community, and family, I am also a passionate runner and I completed the Sydney Marathon in 2023, which was a demonstration of my determination and commitment to achieving personal goals. This tenacity and drive are qualities I bring to this work as a celebrant.
I am well travelled, both overseas and within Australia. I travelled to 30 countries by the time I was 30 and now with a young family have a caravan which we take around this wonderful country of ours. I can talk about travel for hours!
All these experiences help make me the ideal marriage celebrant.

We had the pleasure of having Jake as our MC for our wedding. In the lead up to our wedding, Jake was highly professional and committed to learning more about our bridal party to provide a more personal MC experience. On the day, Jake was professional, organised and genuine. Jake had taken the time to learn more another us and injected humour and read the room to provide a relaxed but well run reception to the agreed schedule. We had many comments from our guests about Jake being a fantastic MC. Jake was an integral part of our day and we couldn’t have asked for a better MC.
Jake was the perfect Master of Ceremonies for our wedding day. He was easy to work with; always warm, friendly, approachable and reliable. Jake was ever the professional, keeping our night running smoothly while simultaneously creating an atmosphere of fun. We are so grateful for the positive contribution Jake made to our day and would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone. Thank you Jake!
